Holme Farm Equestrian Centre

is a friendly family run BHS establishment just minutes from the A50, between Derby and Uttoxeter.

We have had a very busy winter and we are so pleased that we had a new Combi Ride surface installed before all the bad weather arrived.

We have an excellent pass rate preparing candidates for BHS exams. However, if its peace and relaxation you require, come and join us for a hack in our 60 acres of woodland - no roadwork at all - beautiful in spring and summer with river crossings and optional logs to pop over.

Our super horses and ponies are nearly all privately owned and schooled to a high standard, Many compete at county shows, under BSJA rules and in Working Hunter competitions. We have a small selection of lovely horses and ponies for sale, and can help you find your dream ride if necessary.

We take horses for schooling (and their owners) for show preparation - specialising in Mountain & Moorland and Working Hunters - and will trim and plait for you if you like.

There are lots of half term and summer activities for all ages and abilities. We are a Pony Club Centre hosting regular rallies, competition days, summer camps and preparation fo achievement badges.

We also organise activities for Birthday Parties and even Hen Parties!!

Holme Farm Riding Club encourages riders to venture into competition with small friendly shows mainly on a Saturday afternoon, ideal to introduce young, nervous or novice iders and their mounts to competition with out the stress of a large noisy show. We aim to keep everything calm and help everyone reach their potential - rosettes in abundance.
